A tragic loss. An epic man. He had an unmatched emotional intelligence. Pat got people, read the mood and acted always to make you feel better, release social stress and make you part of the group. He used humour, self depreciation and compassion so beautifully to achieve this. And is why he will be missed so unbelievably by everyone. His impact was huge even in short periods of time spent with him. One weakness, terrible at the worm, would split his chin on the dance floor every time he did it!
