Hywel Dda Health Charities supports patients, staff and services within Hywel Dda University Health Board. We exist to make a difference to the thousands of people cared for by the University Health Board across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and beyond each year.
We do not replace NHS funding but use the generous donations we receive from patients, their families and our local communities to support the University Health Board to provide services and activities above and beyond what the NHS in Wales can provide.

We’re the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and we’re taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling shit, standing up to stereotypes, and standing together to show life is always worth living.
125 lives are lost every week to suicide. And 75% of all UK suicides are male. We exist to change this.
We do it by provoking conversation, running life-saving services, and bringing people together so they reject living miserably, get help when they need it and don’t die by suicide.
But we can’t do it alone. Stand with us.
