I had the joy of knowing Archie through my work. A few years ago we did a presentation together at a conference in Aberdeen. The night before we went for a lovely Italian meal and he was the best company with fabulous stories and anecdotes. I've had some special teachers in my life and he was one of them. Determined, intelligent, charming, full of mischief and most importantly an enthusiast of life and of people. Rest in peace Archie.
