Barrie was "Simply the Best". Such a fun guy, always lots of banter, many happy memories from playing golf, super holidays and truly a great friend who will be sadly missed. Rest in peace.

Barrie was one of the first people I played with in 'the Toffs', and one of the most entertaining. I was born a few miles from him in London, and could recognise his stories about growing up in an area I knew well. A great and good man, I'm sorry I'm away on this sad day on business. Our sincere condolences.
