As a very nervous 17yr old in 1963 Mr Nurse kindly gave me my first job in the office of Howes & Sons on Chapelfield. I am pleased to support the work of the Salvation Army in his memory and was sorry not to be able to attend the Service on 20th October as I was at the funeral of close friend.
