Our mission as a registered charity is to provide specialist care, love and support for those living with progressive, life limiting illnesses from East and West Sussex.
We will endeavour to meet the needs of each patient, their family and friends.
We aim to encourage and enable all patients to live their lives to their full potential despite their illnesses.
Set in 28 acres of Sussex countryside, St Peter & St James has spectacular views across the South Downs. We encourage our patients and their loved ones to make the most of our grounds, which include landscaped gardens, a wheelchair friendly woodland walk and a summer house.
All of our Hospice services are free of charge to patients and their loved ones. We receive less than 16% of our funding from the Government and have to raise more than £2.2 million every year through fundraising. That's £6,000 every single day.

Dear Chris,
We will all miss you, your sense of humour and most of your pranks. It was a please to work with you at ZD, at the football and to share an office with you and to have you as a manager for a time too. So many good times, lunches, funny memories and doesn't seem that long ago since we were all enjoying the donut cake at your wedding.
I'm sure you were given the best care possible up until the end as my Grandmother was cared for at the same hospice and they are an amazing team.
