Peacefully on Friday 6th November 2020 in hospital and of Cheviot Way, Upper Hopton, Mirfield, aged 79 years, Diana, dearly loved wife of Colin, much loved mum of Owen and Helen, dearest mother-in-law of David and Jennifer, devoted grandma of Abbie, Christina and Holly.
Diana will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
A private service of celebration for Diana's life will take place on Friday 20th November 2020 at St John the Evangelist Church, Upper Hopton, Mirfield at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in the churchyard.

A wonderful wife who was both the kindest and most gentle person I have ever met. She was always looking for the best in people and taught me what loving people meant in real actions. She risked her life to give me two wonderful children of whom she can be justifiably proud.
She is the embodiment of the truth that you do not fully appreciate what you have until you lose it.

We've lost the most loving mother and grandma, who was very dear to us. She lives on in our hearts and in our wonderful memories of her. She loved the church in Upper Hopton so much. It gave her many happy memories, a sense of belonging and wonderful support from the friends she made there. This donation is only a small contribution in comparison to the huge part this lovely church played in her life.
