We play a vital role in Sheffield's alternative provision network, supporting children and young people facing a complex combination of difficulties, which can include mental health conditions, severe poverty, developmental difficulties such as autism, anxiety, additional learning needs like ADHD, and heart-breaking personal circumstances including abuse and bereavement. We support the schools they go to alongside their families to make sure every young person maximises their potential, grows in confidence and is able to get back on track. We also run activities for youngsters who have additional educational needs – to help them develop life skills, grow in confidence and reduce the risk of isolation.
