Ken we will miss seeing you every time we come back to the UK. We were so pleased to be able to ride with you in October. Many happy memories of riding through sun, rain and snow with your amazing leadership and the whistle of course. You will be sadly missed by so many people. RIP.

Was away and just found out about this sad, sad news.
I was telling my friends back home that we have this young year old who'll beat you on the hills any time, as well as being an absolutely top bloke.
Ken will forever stay in my memory as the greatest inspiration, not just in cycling, but also in life.

Oh, Ken. Things can never be quite the same again. All those miles and miles of road that we rode along with you can never feel quite the same again. Your drive, passion and warmth can never be matched. Little things I will always remember include that you did not like meetings 'unless [you] were chairing them'...tea is a hot drink and should always be drunk HOT...and you knew all the words to Tina Turner's Private Dancer! Your Manchester Velo friends who coined the nickname Perpetual Motion were spot on. Much love, our unique and amazing Ken. Xxx

I hope you can hear me somehow, Ken, but I, like all your buddies miss you so much. Only today I rode past where you rode over the top of me - we still laughed :-) Thank you for my share of happy memories created by you.
