Transport 17
Learn more about us
Transport 17 provides transport services to older and vulnerable people predominantly - but not exclusively - living in SW Sheffield who would otherwise be unable to leave home. Getting out provides the opportunity for them to socialise in the local community which reduces isolation, has a positive impact on their mental health, and improves not only their own quality of life, but that of their friends and families.
Transport 17 is dependent on volunteers to provide our transport services. This in turn provides opportunities for individuals across the age range to develop their skills, confidence and friendship groups.
The organisation is non-profit making and embedded within the community allowing for partnerships with local statutory and non-statutory groups.
* Gift Aid will be collected on completion of registration with Memory Giving.
