Pat a kind, loyal friend always there with a smile on your face, ready for a chat, laugh, walk with the boys and of course lunch "with beer and crisps". You dealt with your illness with great courage, positivity and inspiration. I was privileged to have shared one of your last trips out to the beach, which I will always remember fondly. I am proud to have been one of your friends Pat - Thankyou

Dearest uncle Pat, I remember always you smiling, unless getting beaten at darts against Dave. Always laughing and you boasting to cook the biggest Yorkshire puddings and not telling anyone your secret. And also taking me to my first ever Crystal Palace football match. You will be sorely missed love Tony and Lisa xxx

Pat was a kind, thoughtful and genuine person. He also conveyed a positive attitude in most things he did. None more so than when he was taken ill. I was in awe of how he dealt with his health set backs and the mettle that he conveyed. I feel lucky to have known Pat and hope that he is somewhere in the afterlife having fun.

My Big Sister's 'Little Boy.' Lots of good memories; from a four year old sitting on Marians lap with his thumb in his mouth watching Gerry and the pacemakers on the TV, to a devotee of Crystal Palace and all the various family celebrations where we never quite knew what to expect. We are all the poorer for his passing, Pat you will be missed.

A mate for more than 4 decades, third time lucky 'best man', great company and fun on so many holidays from camping in the South of France, through cruising on the Norfolk Broads to skiing in Colorado. Always up for a tea, beer or meal. Your friendship will be sorely missed.

Dear Pat We will miss you and your crazy antics. I remember the amount of times you said' Follow Me' whilst whizzing down the ski slopes and thinking any minute now you'll end up face down in the snow.
