We are an independent medical charity based at Mount Vernon Hospital, a specialist cancer centre located in Greater London.
We provide comprehensive scanning services to the NHS and private health sectors for the diagnosis, treatment monitoring and research of cancer and other serious diseases, using leading edge PET/CT, MRI and CT scanners. Annually we undertake more than 17,000 scans.
Our charity receives no government funding and relies on voluntary donations to fund a continuous scanner replacement programme and medical research. New scanners cost upwards of £1m each and have to be replaced every 3 - 6 years.
