Soozie's HFM Family
Soozie has been a huge part of Harborough FM since the very start back in 1995. Despite many challenges, she would work tirelessly both behind the scenes and in front of the microphone presenting her own Wednesday evening show. The part Soozie was so passionate about was arranging interviews with musicians / actors / celebs.
Soozie has left a huge hole at HFM and we are all going to miss her enormously.
Sleep tight Soozie. Lot's of love from all of your friends and colleagues at HFM. xxx

Susan Maxwell
I am a cousin of Susan's who lives in Australia, each Christmas Susan and I would send a letter and then emails to one another, Susan was the regular writer. As we did not receive a note before Christmas we Googled to see what news we could find on the web and came upon the sad news on radio HFM site noting Soozie's sudden death in mid-December. This was a great shock to me as I thought of her as invincible.
In our yearly contacts Susan made sure that she knew what her Australian cousin and family were doing and to update me about her family and my Ellwood cousins Robin, Bruce and Barry, I will miss the yearly update.
A family was important to Susan, she created her own unique family that over the years she spoke about with love and kindness, she also told me about her brothers families news with joy and marvelled at their achievements.
Diabetes plagued Susan for most of her life, I marvelled at her tenacity to work with her illness and make the most of life, using big
