Sometimes in life there are losses, losses that can never be replaced.
Losing you has been the hardest thing I'll ever have to live with; I wasn't ready to say goodbye.
What I wouldn't give for one more day, to tell you just how much you meant to me.
You and I had been friends for nearly 50 years and the thought of never seeing you or hearing your voice again, fills me with immense heartache and sadness.
We had been through so much together, both happy and sad, yet we supported each other the way we, only knew how.
You had been my rock, my guardian angel when life became too much, yet you always had the right words, the tightest embrace and a feeling of safety when I needed it the most.
Someday we will meet again and we will no longer be separated by time or space; but until then, I'll find comfort in knowing you are with me, your heart tucked safely inside mine.
I loved you then. I love you now. Always did. Always will.
