Alan was a star volunteer at Leighton Moss. He enthusiastically and knowledgeably lead guided walks, inspired the younger generation on youth events, spent evenings doing his talks as well as getting everyone to have a laugh at his infamous quizzes! His memory will forever live on at Leighton Moss for sure and I will look back fondly on the fun times spent there with Alan as well as many an evening socialising with a wee drinkie. So sad that such a special person is no longer with us.
