Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust is a charity doing big things to support people, landscape and wildlife in the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas.
Our work brings people together to care for, enhance and appreciate the unique qualities of the Yorkshire Dales. Through a diverse range of projects, partnerships and grants programmes we have helped to plant 1.6 million trees, secure the future of around 850 hectares of wildflower meadows and supported 15,000 to access, enjoy and help care for nature. Our projects cover areas as diverse as rural apprenticeships, education and outreach, restoring woodlands and wildlife habitats, and improving access and understanding of this special place.
