Most venous leg ulcers are now curable using modern local anaesthetic treatment techniques - but most patients only get dressings and bandages. The Leg Ulcer Charity advises patients and carers what they should ask for, teaches doctors and nurses who want to learn the new research and techniques, and sponsors research into healing leg ulcers.
