There are no words. The last 40 years of my life have been blessed with the music Chris created with Wildlife and FM with his dear brother, Steve. I was priveleged to have met Chris many times with FM and he was always so kind and giving with his time and answering questions. Such an incredible talent and kind soul. FM will always be unbeatable to me, especially the days with Chris. To Chris' family. I cannot imagine the loss you are all feeling at this time and for what it's worth I send you all my love and comfort. I'm making the journey from Worle in North Somerset to attend Chris' funeral and pay my deepest respects and thanks to him and send spiritual support to Chris' family and everyone affected by his loss. Thank you, dear Chris, for shaping my life with your music, talent and performances and for your hairstyles! I tried relentlessly to grow my hair in the 80/90s but could never pull off the FM look. Rip Sir and my deepest and sincere condolence to all your family. FM & Wildlife were/are incredible - its what got me into aor/melodicrock in the first place and your playing inspired me - your solos where just so melodic. On the few occasions i would visit the Norfolk area i wanted so much to try and arrange some one-off guitar lessons, but just never got managed it....kept putting it off...something I will always regret now. Rip Mr Overland and i hope your entire family can seek some solace and peace knowing how much you were respected and loved. All the very best x
