Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis
Learn more about us
Around 70,000 people in the UK are living with pulmonary fibrosis. We support those affected, raise awareness and fund research to find a cure. Our four themes are:
Support - to advocate for patients and to provide support to improve their quality of life and to develop collaborative partnerships to help fund patient-focused support programmes
Research - to support research into improved outcomes and greater understanding of the disease and to champion research programmes
Education - to undertake targeted awareness raising of the disease, amongst the medical profession, decision-makers and the wider public
Campaigning - to proactively target parliamentarians, NHS and policy-makers and to represent patient interests with NICE and the NHS and to target symptom recognition in primary care for prompt diagnosis

I'm sincerely sorry to learn of David's passing and although I haven't seen him for many years, I offer Janet and the entire family my heart felt condolences. In my eye's Dave was a top-bloke and all-round good egg. Of course he'll be sorely missed by everybody, but I feel sure through the years to come you'll all hold very fond memories of him, as shall I from around the hovercraft days and beyond when I'd occasionally catch-up with him at the Beale's in Deppers Bridge. Stay strong
