Uncle Dennis was always there for us, his family, mum & aunt Jean even though at times the sisters used to drive him 'crazy' in a loving way. They loved him very much. Mum often spoke of the times she used to accompany him on the piano in their family Hotel in Minehead.
Always upbeat, with a mischievous sense of fun, Uncle Dennis found the good in people.
I remember his amazing singing voice that filled every church with a marvelous rich, powerful warm sound wrapping around and supporting a congregation without ever trying to outdo them.
Salvation army was also special to my dad who was very fond of Dennis and family. it was the charity who met Queenie and him at the docks when they were evacuated from Jersey in a coal boat during WWII.
Our love & thoughts to Clare, Mark and Iris.

My memories of Uncle Dennis will be those of a kind, considerate and positive person. He had an upbeat air about him that I loved and am so sad that he is no longer with us. My deepest condolences go to Mark, Clare and Iris as I know that he will be missed sorely.
