I was a fellow academic in Iain's research group at Imperial College in the 1980s and 1990s. Iain was very supportive in the development of my career. We attended many of the same conferences, and co-authored numerous scientific papers together. Iain's international leadership in Environmental Geochemistry will be sadly missed.
