James Stuart Robinson

James' funeral will not be a traditional affair. Instead we are celebrating him by having a festival. 

Date: Wednesday 27th May 2026 Time: 12pm - 4pm 
Place: Stoke Holy Cross Community Hall and Playing Field, Long Lane, Stoke Holy Cross, Norfolk, NR14 8LY.
Dress code: Festival / bright coloured clothing or whatever you fancy. No blacks please. 

Donations: No flowers please but if you would like to make a donation, we have chosen 2 charities who made a massive difference to our lives, Priscilla Bacon Lodge Hospice who gave James and our family incredible support and comfort,  and Friend in Deed who's founder very kindly fostered our dog Bonnie for 6 months giving the family time and space to care for James at home.

Please bring picnics, picnic chairs, blankets, beers, wine and anything else you fancy. Seats will not be provided so please bring a picnic chair and a spare if you have one. 

James' service will be 12pm until just after 1pm where he will join us and we will be sharing stories and family will be playing various tributes to him. 

After James has left us for his direct cremation, we will continue to celebrate him with live music played by his friends/musicians who he loved playing and working with. 

There will be free tea and coffee and cake available in the hall. Feel free to help yourselves. 

Let's make this the best celebration of him. He was a unique and one off absolute gem who deserves to be celebrated.
