Thank you great aunt Janet for providing our family with a vital place and opportunity to connect. In your home I felt excitement, safety to try new things, Joy and laughter. I felt like you really saw my potential and challenged me, on the piano and with brain teasers and crosswords and tell me and the identifying the personalities from the newspaper. This mental workout is something I really value in my everyday and is a character trait I feel really proud of. I guess what I'm partly describing is the teacher but your effect was more than teaching it was shining a light on something positive you saw in me and then handing me a magnifying glass so that became all I could see. Thank you. I hope you and Russel are together again walking somewhere, with an unending flask of coffee and the red wine flowing, stroking cats, completing crosswords and tinkling the ivories. Xx

I have lovely memories of her on a Thursday night my grandad and I would go down the local pub and play darts, and how she looked after my mum and giving her life till the end, such a lovely person so much love.

I remember all the wonderful Christmas's that were shared at your house, and the effort you must of put in to entertain us all. We all had such great times at Christmas and what a generous and kind person you were.

Remembering all those wonderful walks we completed across Norfolk and beyond only stopping for a pub lunch during the middle of the day.
I particularly remember some of Janet's favourites, those in the Upton area and one which she led to Granchester near Cambridge. i remember our last foreign trip to Bruges, the last one in which her dearest friend Tilly participated. Fond memories.
