With great sadness we announce the passing of Jo, of Ingham Close, Mirfield, who died peacefully in hospital on 4th July 2026, aged 81 years.
Jo, dearly loved wife of the late Stephen, much loved mum of Daniel, Thomas and Ellen, dear mother-in-law, loving grandma, and dear step sister.
Jo will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
A service of celebration of Jo’s life will take place on Monday 27th July 2026, at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium at 10.30 a.m.
Family flowers only please.
Donations in lieu, if so desired, for the benefit of Kirkwood Hospice and Yorkshire Cancer Research can be left in the collection box provided at the funeral service, or made online on this memory giving page.

I have been friends with Jo since 1963 when we met at Endsleigh Teachers Training College. We have been friends ever since with many lovely reunions when it was always just like we were back in those days. I will miss her immensely and will always keep her in my prayers. RIP Jo.
