Shelter
Learn more about us
For over 50 years, ever since the film Cathy Come Home created a wave of indignation about the human cost of homelessness, Shelter has been working to give everyone the most basic right of all - the right to live in a decent, safe and affordable home. We have run projects that deal with the effects of homelessness and campaigned for political and legislative change that tackles its root causes. We've created a national helpline and a network of housing services that now help thousands of people every year. We won't stop until there's a home for everyone.
Long after the flowers have faded away, your donation in memory of a loved one will live on, helping to prevent homelessness, improve housing conditions and strengthen communities.
