When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you.

Tell her that we love and miss her and when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while, Because remembering her is easy, we do it every day. But there is an ache within our hearts that will never go away.

On Saturday 15th August 2026, we lost a very important person in our family.
She was an amazing lady who brought happiness and laugher wherever she went.
She was a very strong and independent women, who never moaned and got on with everything. She had polio when she was young, then beat all the odds and lived her life to the fullest until an amazing age of 96.
She was the best Grandma and my world, she was deeply loved and going to be missed by many.
