Columban Missionaries
Learn more about us
Columban Missionaries is an intercultural group of priests and lay people called to participate in the Mission of God. Centred on the Eucharist, we cross boundaries of faith and culture for the life of the world, living and working in solidarity with the poor and the exploited Earth, with a special commitment to Asia and Latin America. Seeking the signs of God's Spirit in our situation, we develop vibrant Christian groups able to reach out to those in need and challenge the unjust structures that hold people in poverty. Columbans spend a lifetime laying deep foundations for others to build upon. A gift to the Columbans will help to give encouragement to a new generation of missionaries from the Philippines, Chile, Fiji, Korea and Taiwan; a legacy of the first Columbans to visit these countries.
