I'm so sorry to hear this. Mike had a big influence on my life as a young trade union activist in the 1990s. The trade union education he managed was excellent and provided the confidence to go on to higher education. He was a man to be proud of and I was honoured that he kept in touch when I went to work as an academic.please accept my condolences.
