Cancer affects us all. It may be us who’s been touched, close friends or family members. With one in two people sadly developing some form of cancer in their lifetime, thousands of people daily receive a diagnosis that will turn their world upside down. Living with cancer and receiving treatment is gruelling. Hope for Tomorrow introduced the world’s first Mobile Cancer Care Unit in 2007, and are the largest provider of mobile cancer care in England. We quite literally drive cancer care forward, with the aim of providing convenient cancer care. We enable treatment to be delivered in the right way, at the right time, closer to patients. Our first Unit was launched in Gloucestershire, and is still serving patients locally now. This way, patients’ lives aren’t dictated by their treatment and they can spend precious time doing what they love; from spending time with the family and friends, or even continuing to work. Importantly, they can have a life outside of cancer.

To enable Norfolk & Waveney to be a centre of excellence for the provision of cancer services, and to contribute to the international reputation for excellence in cancer research locally. We are dedicated to the fight against cancer and its effect on the individual and the family. To this end we aim to promote partnerships between the statutory, private and voluntary sectors, which together will develop first class cancer research and services. We will become the go to organisation for the people of Norfolk & Waveney when cancer support and information services are required.
