We are here to educate, support and empower people and their loved ones affected by prostate cancer.
The Worcestershire Prostate Cancer Support Group was formed in 2000 to support all individuals affected by prostate cancer. Our group covers the whole of Worcestershire and with over 500 members is one of the largest groups in the UK. We’ve been awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
We are supported by Clinical Nurse Specialists, Consultant Urologists and Oncologists in the Worcestershire Acute Health Trust (WAHT). We work with Prostate Cancer UK and are members of the National Federation of Prostate Cancer Support Group (Tackle).
Our members are those diagnosed with prostate cancer, their families, friends and carers. We are here to help from the moment of initial diagnosis, treatment, recovery and beyond.
