The British Red Cross has been helping people in crisis for almost 150 years, whoever and wherever they are. Across the world, we provide emergency supplies and medical assistance to people in desperate need as a result of conflict or natural disasters. We respond within hours and stay long after the emergency is over, reuniting families and helping communities to recover and cope better in future. In the UK, we help vulnerable people by providing medical equipment, transport and care in the home. We train people in life-saving first aid skills and our volunteers provide vital back up to the emergency services whenever a disaster – such as a fire, train crash or flood – occurs. Your donation in memory of a loved one to the British Red Cross will be a lasting contribution to the cause of humanity.
