Passed away on 06 November 2022, aged 65 years.
’ Our much loved husband and Dad,
Paul Jonathon Burgess passed away on 6th November 2022 aged 65 years.
Paul had multiple myeloma and had been being treated by the incredible
care and support of the Macmillan centre at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn
from his diagnosis in 2019. The staff there, from the receptionists, nurses,
consultants, healthcare assistants to volunteers, all always brought out a
smile to his face, and others, and nothing was too much trouble. The treatment
they gave was impeccable and made each visit a comforting and warm one, despite
the nature of why he was there and what he was going through. Paul always spoke
of how wonderful they all were and described them as angels. This incredible
centre has helped so many and will continue to do so for many many years. We
hope to be able to give a little back to them with this memory giving page and
any donations, no matter what size, will be greatly appreciated by us all. ’’
