Marie Curie Care provides high quality nursing, entirely free, providing people with terminal illnesses the choice of dying at home. We run nine Hospices across the UK offering free specialist care for patients and support for families. We also conduct palliative care research.

Formed in 2003, Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance has been helping people across the counties of Warwickshire and Northamptonshire, saving thousands of lives and keeping many families together.
We attend many different accidents from road traffic collisions, horse riding accidents, sporting injuries and medical emergencies such as cardiac arrests - to name but a few!
Our brilliant paramedics, doctors and pilots work together to provide advanced clinical care to patient at the scene of the accident, before flying them to the hospital most suitable for their injuries - all in all giving them the very best chances of survival and recovery.
The speed of the helicopter means we can fly our patients to the hospital best equipped to treat their injuries, rather than to the nearest hospital which may not have specialist treatment available.
Flying out of Coventry Airport, we attend an average of three rescue missions every single day, with the capability to attend even more.

Met Rob in Rugby, September, 1955, as BT-H Student Apprentices on first Sandwich Course.
Closest of friends through graduation in 1960. Hostel roommates for 1st. 3 years. Many wonderful experiences, including Rugby annual "Apprentices' Rag Weeks". He was an excellent Best Man at our Rugby Wedding in May, 1960. Shortly thereafter, we emigrated to the U.S., but kept in touch through his fascinating 'diary' of work travels.
We had 3 terrific Class Reunions: 1985, 2000 & 2010, with some of the 18 members coming from around the world.
Rob was a Triumph (?) motorbike enthousiast, His twin brother, John had a 'purring' Norton. Have you ever seen 2 men on a motorbike, change positions while riding down the road? They would!
We wish Ann, Bridget, Robbie, and all his family and friends, Peace, and many Happy Memories.
