To provide a fully supportive hands-on nursing service to patients in the latter stages of a life-limiting illness, within their own homes.
To support this with the provision of Befriending, Bereavement Support and Counselling services to patient's families and carers for as long as required.
To provide all services free of charge on a 24/7 basis every day of the year.

Midhurst Palliative Care

Midhurst Palliative Care is the registered charity funding the Midhurst Macmillan Service. Midhurst Macmillan provides specialist palliative and end of life care to patients with cancer and life limiting illnesses over a wide area of West Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire. We are a consultant-led team of specialist nurses, doctors and clinical support. We also have a professional bereavement and counselling service.
We are no longer funded by Macmillan central and rely on donations to fund 40% of the annual cost of the service.
