With great sadness we announce the passing of Sylvia, of Priory Way, Mirfield, who died in hospital on 25th July 2026, aged 82 years.
Sylvia, dearly loved wife of Clifford, much loved mum of Tom and Lizzie, loving grandma of Eva, George, Jack and Luke.
Sylvia will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
A service of celebration of Sylvia’s life will take place on Monday 17th August 2026 at St Mary’s Parish Church, Church Lane, Mirfield, at 11.00 a.m., followed by interment in the Churchyard.
Afterwards refreshments will be served at The Old Colonial, Dunbottle Lane, Mirfield, where all are most welcome.
Sylvia loved colour, so please feel free to celebrate her life by wearing something colourful if you would like to.
Family flowers only please.
Donations in lieu, if so desired, for the benefit of St Mary’s Parish Church can be left on the collection plate provided at the funeral service, or made online on this memory giving page.
