Severn Hospice is not part of the NHS. We are an independent charity and two-thirds of our revenue comes from public fundraising. You can find out more about how the general public helps us to deliver our services here. We care for people who are living with complex and progressive illness. Our aim is to sustain the quality of their life and to provide relief from pain and other distressing symptoms. Our aim is not to shorten nor to extend the length of our patients' life. Because incurable illnesses affect whole families we offer the same loving support, help and counselling to their families, friends and carers.
